Northeast Montana is the only region in our state that has not established a distinguished grounds to memorialize the sacrifices of the many thousands of military veterans "past and present" resident to our area of Montana.

The Memorial Park is located on a beautiful destination site, central to the region, in the Town of Fort Peck. It is being funded, constructed, and maintained by local residents and sponsors, without state or federal funding.

The Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial Project is dedicated to planning, funding, constructing, and maintaining a magnificent park, envisioned to memorialize the service and sacrifice of all military veterans, particularly those from Northeast Montana, to include the counties of Phillips, Valley, Roosevelt, Daniels, McCone, Garfield, Dawson, Sheridan, and Richland.

There remains an unpaid debt of gratitude to those who served or are serving in uniform to protect the freedoms and opportunities enjoyed by all, and it will be through generous gifts of time, talent, and treasure, that every resident of the region will have the opportunity to participate in this effort.
